Ayushman Sahakar Yojana 2021 is being launched by National Cooperative Development Corporation to provide proper health facilities in rural areas. 10,000 crore to cooperativesocieties for opening hospitals, medical colleges in rural areas through the Scheme. Good facilities will be provided after opening of hospital medical college. This will provide better health facilities and good treatment to the people living in rural areas. Under Aayushman Sahakar Yojana 2021, the Central Government will involve cooperatives in forming health care infrastructure. NCDC Ayushman Sahakar Yojana 2021

As per the scheme, loans will be provided at concessional (low) rates which will be provided by the National Cooperative Development Corporation. As per this Ayushman Sahakar Yojana 2021, NCDC (NCDC) managing editor Sandeep Naik said that about 52 hospitals in the country are being run by cooperativesocieties. The number of beds in these hospitals is about 5000. The scheme will be implemented in line with the National Digital Health Mission. In rural areas, cooperativesocieties which want to open hospital medical colleges in their areas should apply under this scheme.

Under this Ayushman Sahakar Yojana, an interest subvention of 1% will be provided to women majority cooperative societies. In rural areas where Government services are not available, government service will be provided through this scheme and better health facilities will be available to the people of rural areas and their health problems will be addressed.

Objective of Ayushman Sahakar Yojana 2021

As we all know, our country has been greatly affected by the Covid-19 epidemic which is causing a lot of health problems in the rural areas of the country. Under the scheme, the National Cooperative Development Corporation will provide medical college hospitals to cooperatives in rural areas by the Government. With the presence of this scheme, cooperatives will be fully able to function as care providers. The opening of medical college hospitals in the village will provide better treatment.

NCDC Highlights of Ayushman Sahakar Yojana 2021

  • Under the Ayushman Sahakar Yojana 2021, the Central Government will support initiatives to provide medical, dental Colleges and nursing and paramedical education.
